With his background from the radio documentary department of the Norwegian National Broadcaster (NRK) and as a feature writer for A-magasinet (Norway's leading feature magazine), Sindre Leganger has a broad experience in journalistic storytelling both through sound and text.
His 2014 radio documentary «Still Glowing Strong» (NRK) won the jury's special commendation in Prix Europa. In 2015 he made the podcast «Uløst» for VG/Rubicon, which was awarded best podcast of the year at Norway's Prix Radio.
In 2016 Sindre made several projects for an international audience, among them «Wood Fighting With Steel» for the American podcast Love + Radio, and «The Man is Falling» for BBC/Falling Tree Productions. He also made the podcast «Skuddet på Toftøy» for A-magasinet, which was awarded best podcast of the year at Norway's Prix Radio.
In 2017 Sindre was awarded «Freelance Journalist of the Year» by the Norwegian Union for Journalists (NJ). In 2018 he won the best podcast of the year-award at Norway’s Prix Radio for the third time in a row, with «Hele historien: Drapet på Benjamin Hermansen» (NRK).
Sindre was born in 1987 and grew up in Østfold, Norway. He lives in Oslo and speaks Norwegian, English and Italian.
